Additional task-related features and issues within Microsoft Teams for business
Hello @Kalitta Air LLC,
Good day! I hope you're doing well.
Based on the information provided, the ability for hours worked on tasks to automatically roll up to a Feature or Project level depends on the Microsoft Project solution being used and how work tracking has been configured.
Additionally, the reporting requirements described (Feature/Project, associated tasks, individual staff members, and total hours worked) may be achievable through Power BI reporting depending on the available data source.
- Could you please clarify which Microsoft Project product you are using and where the "Time Worked" values are being recorded?
- Also, could you provide screenshots illustrating the issue and your current configuration? Please remove any personal information before uploading images on this public forum.
This will help us better understand the scenario and determine whether the behavior is expected or if an alternative solution is available.
In the meantime, if you believe this could be solved by using Power BI, I recommend posting your question in the Microsoft Fabric Community: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com
This community is dedicated to Power BI, Power Query, and Microsoft Fabric scenarios and is actively monitored by Microsoft engineers, MVPs, and experienced community members. They are well-equipped to provide guidance on building reports, aggregating hours worked, configuring scheduled refreshes, and setting up automated report subscriptions.
Thank you for your understanding and I look forward to your response!
