A Microsoft offering that enables tracking of cloud usage and expenditures for Azure and other cloud providers.
Official invoices and subscription details can be accessed from the account that was used for the purchase; they are not sent manually from here.
For a personal Microsoft subscription or Microsoft Store purchase:
- Sign in to the Microsoft account used for the subscription.
- Open the order history page and review purchases, subscriptions, and invoices.
- If needed, change the date range to find older transactions.
- Select the order details to view or print the invoice.
If the subscription is billed by Microsoft, it should also appear on the Microsoft account subscriptions page. If Manage, Cancel, or Change payment appears, the subscription is billed by Microsoft. If management options are limited or missing, it may be managed by a third party.
If multiple charges appear on the card statement but only one or no matching charge appears in order history, check whether another Microsoft account is using the same payment card. Microsoft account Payment options includes an Investigate option for that scenario.
If this is an Azure billing account and the account has the required billing permissions, payment history can be viewed in the Azure portal:
- Sign in to the Azure portal.
- Open Cost Management + Billing.
- Select the correct billing scope.
- Under Billing, select Payment history.
- Select an invoice ID to view the invoice, or use the download symbol to download it.
For Microsoft 365 business subscriptions, invoices are available in the Microsoft 365 admin center under Billing > Bills & payments or Products > View invoices, depending on the view.
