Authenticator for Facebook

At one point I had set up Authenticator for 2 factor authentication on Facebook, but I accidentally deleted the Facebook profile/info from the app. Recently had my Facebook account hacked and I’m trying to reset the password to regain access, I’m being asked for the Authenticator code which I cannot get because the Facebook profile is gone. I don’t have the cloud backup setup so can’t even retrieve the profile info. Is there anything I can do aside from trying to get help from Facebook/Meta (which has been useless so far)? Any help or guidance would be great! Thanks!

    The two factor needs turned off at service provider (facebook) before removing an account from authenticator else the account is orphaned. Facebook support is your only hope.
