Observações

Normalmente, uma aplicação define várias classes que convertem XmlSerializer num único documento de instância XML. No entanto, devem XmlSerializer conhecer apenas um tipo — o tipo da classe que representa o elemento raiz XML. O XmlSerializer serializa automaticamente todas as instâncias de classes subordinadas. Observações

Observações

Por defeito, se uma propriedade pública ou campo devolver um objeto ou array de objetos, os tipos de objeto são automaticamente serializados. No entanto, se uma classe contiver um campo ou propriedade que devolve um array do tipo Object, qualquer objeto pode ser inserido nesse array. Observações

O overrides parâmetro permite a criação de um XmlSerializer que serializa uma classe que estende ou sobrepõe o comportamento de uma classe base. Por exemplo, dada uma DLL, é possível criar uma classe que herda ou estende uma classe contida na DLL. Para serializar tal classe, deve usar uma instância da XmlAttributeOverrides classe ao construir o XmlSerializer. Para obter mais detalhes, veja XmlAttributeOverrides.

Por defeito, se uma propriedade pública ou campo devolver um objeto ou array de objetos, os tipos de objeto são automaticamente serializados. No entanto, se uma classe contiver um campo ou propriedade que devolve um array do tipo Object, qualquer objeto pode ser inserido nesse array. Nesse caso, deve XmlSerializer ser instruído a esperar todos os tipos possíveis de objetos que são inseridos no Object array. Para isso, use o extraTypes parâmetro para especificar os tipos de objetos extra a serializar ou desserializar.

O elemento raiz de um documento XML envolve todos os outros elementos. Por defeito, o objeto especificado pelo type parâmetro é serializado como elemento raiz. Propriedades, como o nome do elemento XML do elemento raiz, são retiradas do type objeto. No entanto, o root parâmetro permite-lhe substituir a informação do objeto por defeito especificando um XmlRootAttribute; o objeto permite-lhe definir um namespace, nome de elemento e assim por diante.

Use o defaultName parâmetro para especificar o namespace predefinido de todos os elementos XML gerados pelo XmlSerializerarquivo .
